It’s impossible to share how much I love this place. Before CoVid, the park was a daily outing for exercise. Since CoVid, it is our refuge from the isolation and electronics-dominated house we now spend so much time in.

The view out of my office window. Singapore is always beautiful to me. I love waking to her sights and sounds each day.

We had a great night of fun and fellowship with @stephen_jody and @hannahesguerra_ this week. So thankful for this precious family and how they have supported our young people. We are thankful for laughter and joy in a run of the mill weekday.

A night @Singapore Botanic Gardens while Chris is working. Runs, frisbee, and chats under a warm evening sky. It’s hard being stuck in Singapore and not being able to travel for 9 months now, but nights like this help.

This guy finished his first shift at Subway and got home at 11:30 pm. Fell into bed, got up early and rushed to school. We are so proud of him; his work ethic and character just blow us away.

When you turn 45, midlife feels real. A lot of emotion and reflection have come with that milestone for me. How wonderful to spend time with the man who has been with me 30 of those years. Life is rich, filled with joy that overwhelms the sorrows. Thanks for a wonderful birthday and all the other days you have shared with me!
